To explicate, the reality of this now we shall
dwell upon Descents. Correlat1on now shall dwell upon Descent. There are three
conspicuous Descents. Each one of them has an_ mconsp1eu us Descent as well. Every
conspicuous and inconspicuous Descent is related with a reminiscence ( Warood )
or an Observation (Shahood). First Conspicuous Descent is the Great Secret;
second is the Great Soul and the third one is the Persona Major.
Which is the name of that Manifestation which
is called the Universe. The very same universe is seen and recognized by the
material eye. Principle basis of the universe is. that light which has been
given tl1e name of Ma (water) by the Holy Quran.
Science of the modern age has described it as
gases. Mercury or the various forms of mercury represent that initial compound
as a manifestation which was formed due to accumulation of hundreds of these
gases. Various composition of the same compounds are responsible for
construction of material bodies which are called the Tripartite i. e. the
kingdoms of Animal, Vegetable and Mineral.
Name of the primary form of every gas, in terms
of Sufism, is Nasma. In otl1er words Nasma is the name for the collection of
those basic and fundamental rays of Motion which are responsible for the
beginning of an existing being. Motion is to be taken here as those lines (of
force) which are permeating space in such a way that neither are they separated
from one another nor are they infused in one another. The same lines are the
linking source of the material bodies. These lines can only be sighted by that
Observing Eye which could be called 'the sight of the Soul'. No detective
machine or microscope can detect these lines in any form. Although the effects
of these lines can be observed in the form of material manifestations. According
to those who enjoy the faculty of Observation, the very same lines are
responsible for the growth of the Illustration (Tamasl).

Shamsuddin Azeemi, Chief Editor of the monthly Roohani Digest, the renowned
spiritual scholar, founder of the chain of Muraqba Halls the world over has had
the honour of learning the spiritual sciences from his spiritual mentor, His
Divine Grace Qalander Baba Auliya, the sage of this age. In order to teach him
the spiritual sciences Qalander Baba Auliya made Alshaikh Azeemi to pen down
the words that he used to narrate. Alshaikh Azeemi being a devoted disciple not
only noted the contents but also did his best to understand what he was taught.
The eventual out come of his dedicated work took the form of the ‘Loh-o-Qalum’,
the first ever book that comprises the whole syllabus of the spiritual science.
Who else was more suitable to explain the contents of this document but
Alshaikh Azeemi, the very able student of Qalander Baba Auliya. Dissemination
of that knowledge, which is the legacy of prophets and had reached him in
disciplic succession, has become an obsession for Alshaikh Azeemi because, according
to him, this knowledge is the only elixir and the antidote for the ailing
humanity in present times.
